Hey there! Hope you are enjoying a fabulous weekend! After working Saturday, I anticipate catching up on a few things, listening to an IIN lecture, and wait for it…going for a FUN hike!
It’s that time again to post some of my favorite posts from the last week. The following authors have either posted fabulously delicious & healthy recipes or have written insightful posts, which I believe we could all benefit from reading. I love doing the Weekend Winks post, but sometimes it can be a challenge to select a limited number of posts…I want to mention everyone!
First off, Angela at Eat Spin Run Repeat posted several insightful health articles starting with The Top 10 Tips For Staying Accountable To Health & Fitness Goals as well as How To Get Healthy. Stay awhile and check out Angela’s other great posts from the week. There is a leg workout that looks super challenging & wonderful + a pumpkin hummus recipe! That girl is covering it all!!
This wink is actually from a couple weeks ago, and I forgot to post it, however, I find it to be an important read for everyone. Jess at The Wellness Warrior did a Q & A with Sonya Driver, founder of Eco Tan. I never imagined that the products, in this case, sunless tanner, may be worse for you than sun bathing! I recently purchased a bottle of the all-natural, organic sunless tanner to try and I cannot wait to post the review. If it is as fabulous as it sounds, I might sell it via the blog so stay tuned!
While I was perusing The Wellness Warrior Website, I discovered Vital Affirmations, where you can choose your positive affirmation for the day that is “just right for you!” Also, Jess posted an article regarding taking 30 minutes out of your day for self care for the next 27 days, a project created by her friend, called SELFISH for 27 days! <3
Next, head on over to Healthful Sense because Lisa is doing a healthy (family friendly) dinner recipe roundup and there are several awesome recipes posted in one place, just for your convenience! Y-U-M!
I am going to end it sweet this week by telling you about Chocolate Covered Katie’s Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bars, without real cream cheese! Katie is super creative and comes up with deliciously looking & sounding desserts, almost daily that are relatively simple to make!! Added, bonus, this recipe can be made gluten-free!
Well, that wraps up another edition of Weekend Winks. I hope you enjoyed! Wishing you a happy weekend and sending you a little wink!
What is something you learned this weekend? What are you up to this weekend?
