Wow, January flew by…see you next year birthday month!! I am passing my month off to my younger sister as she has a birthday in February and so does one of my wonderful friends…actually her birthday is today…Happy Birthday Heather!! Last night I made her some delicious peanut butter cookies and dropped them by-just a little something to kick off her special day right!

I have some incredible weekend winks to share this week!!!

First off, I discovered a new-to-me blog called Fridge Scrapings. I can’t even remember how I discovered it..I am sure it was via another blog but I am not sure which one…I get lost..there are so many good ones! There is a super wimple, healthy recipe for cinnamon buns..I made a quick version for our Friday night treat and they were delish!! I used applesauce instead of apples to make it a little more simple (no food processing on a Friday night :) and I used almond meal + coconut flour instead of oats…I didn’t try the sauce but it looks fab too!

Kris at I Heart Wellness had been making this fabulous grain-free treats including Grain Free Mocha Chocolate Cookies…mmm! :) It sounds like the grain free thing is really working for her so if you are interested in trying a grain free diet, then head over and check out her most recent review!

I recently rediscovered Heather Eats Almond Butter! She has a fun DIY Valentine’s card post that inspired me! Making my own cards is one of my little things that I love to do…my friend Heather recently received two-1 for her baby shower and 1 for her Birthday!

Jess at The Wellness Warrior had a super interesting guest post my Shannon Dunn on Reversing Grays naturally! I hate to admit it, but I have a few wise ones in my bangs…thank goodness they are not right on my part-they are a bit hidden! They do try and peek out from time to time and while I do not love this, I am not hiding it. I tried coloring them for awhile, but I don’t like the maintenance and I didn’t like the thought of all the toxic chemicals. Let me know if you have any other solutions you have tried. I have hear of hemp color…has anyone tried it?

Finally, Ashley at Edible Perspective made Pizza Bread Bakes…actually a few varieties and they sound so delicious!! I love healthy pizza variations and I might actually try to make this recipe today to take in my lunch with a salad this week!

That’s it for this week’s winks..what a random mix, everything from gray hair to cinnamon buns! I hope you enjoyed them! Are you watching the Superbowl today? Did you make healthy treats? I have no intentions of watching the game but I will probably review the commercials at some point…that’s the best part for me! :) ¬†With all the new snow we have, we are planning to go sledding which I am super excited about…such a kid…I love it! :)

Have a fabulous day!
